Dr. Neelam Misra, M.D., Diplomat ABPMER, C.Ac.

Dr. Neelam Misra is Board Certified in Pain Management serving as a Diplomat of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R). In addition to this, she is also a Certified Acupuncturist (C.Ac.). In 1996 she attended the St. George's University School of Medicine where she received her medical degree. Her medical career began in 2000 when she accepted an internship at Elmhurst Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. She later moved on to practice as a Resident in PM&R at Long Island Jewish Hospital. From there, Dr. Misra worked at St. Luke's Roosevelt where she focused on pain management treatment for her patients. To add to her medical credentials, in 2007, Dr. Misra received her training and licensing at UCLA/Stanford in the field of Medical Acupuncture. Dr. Misra is a proud member of the AAPM&R (American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation). In addition, Dr. Misra is certified to perform electrodiagnostic testing (EMG Studies).
