Dr. Necolle Morgado-Vega, D.O., Diplomat of ABPMR

Dr. Necolle Morgado-Vega, is a Board Certified Doctor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She has received extensive medical training from 1999 – 2008 within some of NYC’s most prestigious medical institutions such as The Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, where she completed her Residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R). She also received training at The New York College of Osteopathic medicine (NYCOM), acquired her Undergraduate Degree and Bachelors of Science in Biology and Pre-Medicine at Pace University in NYC and performed an Internship at North Shore LIJ in Plainview Hospital, NY. Dr. Morgado-Vega also serves as member of the International Spine Intervention Society (ISIS), the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (AAPMR) and a member of the Medical Society of New York. Offering her expertise to teaching others, Dr. Morgado-Vega is the proud co-author of ”Hip Injuries in the Athlete”, “Shoulder Injuries in the Athlete” chapters for Herrera J., Copper G., eds. Essential Sports Medicine Review Book (2008). We are proud to have her as a member of our medical team at Manhattan Total Health. She offers treatment of musculoskeletal and spine disorders with emphasis on sports related injuries and trigger point therapy as well as being certified to perform electrodiagnostic testing (EMG/NCV Studies). When treating her patients, Dr. Morgado-Vega uses a holistic and comprehensive approach to patient care by treating the “whole body/patient”.

In her leisure time, Dr. Morgado-Vega enjoys exercising, running, baking, cooking, hiking and visiting museums.
